Would you like to own this painting for €50? You could!
 
There's Another Sky is a large(ish) oil painting on canvas, stretched over a museum quality aluminium frame. It is 150cm x 120cm.
 
I am raffling it to help towards some of the transport costs for my upcoming solo exhibition in Cyprus, and also because I believe that art should be something that everyone should have! I wanted to do something a little different, so this is a bit of a trial run.
 
The exhibition opens at Art-Seen, in Nicosia on 30 May. It is my first major solo exhibition, and I'm very excited. After receiving three different quotes for transport, and calculating my costs, it will be in the region of €13500 to get this show quite literally on the road!
 
To this end, I am selling 160 raffle tickets at €50 each, which makes up the price of the painting (valued at €8000) and I will draw the ticket at random when a) all tickets are sold, or b) on my 40th birthday, which is 23 April, by which time I'll need to have all work packed and ready to ship and hopefully we will have raised close to the value of the painting! 
 
Transport of the work within Ireland will be arranged and covered by me, if you're outside of Ireland please be aware you will be responsible for your own delivery and associated costs.
